Ed Sheeran Reunites with Rupert Grint for New Song “A Little More” from Upcoming Album Play

Global music sensation Ed Sheeran has officially unveiled a teaser for his highly anticipated new track titled “A Little More”, set to release on Thursday, August 7. The song is part of his latest studio album, Play, and features a surprising collaboration with none other than Harry Potter star Rupert Grint.

Taking to Instagram, the Shape of You hitmaker, 34, shared a short preview of the track along with exciting behind-the-scenes details. Sheeran revealed that the music video for “A Little More” will star Rupert Grint, marking their reunion after 14 years since their last collaboration.

“14 years later, me and @rupertgrint are reunited,” Ed wrote in his caption. “I had this wild idea after writing the song, and thankfully Rupert was up for it. It’s an utterly bonkers video for a very upbeat, fun, but angry song.”

The pair famously worked together back in 2011 when Grint starred in Sheeran’s Lego House music video — a fan-favorite that still garners millions of views. Their latest team-up is expected to be equally iconic.

Fans have already flooded Ed’s comments section with excitement, calling the sneak peek “epic” and praising the unexpected reunion. The buzz suggests “A Little More” could become one of the standout hits from Play.

This release follows Sheeran’s previous track “Sapphire”, another hit from the album that drew global attention for its haunting melody and surprise uncredited vocals by Indian playback singer Arijit Singh.

With Play, Ed Sheeran appears to be pushing creative boundaries, embracing bold visuals, diverse musical influences, and nostalgic collaborations — all of which are resonating strongly with fans worldwide.
