Emma Stone is getting candid about how becoming a mother has reshaped her world. In a heartfelt interview with Vogue published on Monday, August 11, the Easy A star reflected on how her priorities shifted after welcoming her daughter, Louise Jean, in 2021.
“There’s nothing I feel luckier about,” the 36-year-old gushed, describing her 4-year-old as “the greatest gift of my life, for sure.”

Stone revealed that motherhood has changed the way she approaches her work. “It’s streamlined everything,” she explained, noting that she now chooses projects more carefully, factoring in the time commitment and how it would take her away from Jean. “It’s a clichéd thing to say, but it changes everything. And simplifies everything.”

Far from limiting her creativity, the La La Land actress says motherhood has actually enriched her craft. “I do think it unlocks different things,” Stone shared. “I don’t know if it’s specifically that, but I feel everything I could possibly feel, because everything has exploded.”
Outside of her personal life, Stone recently made headlines for a dramatic hair transformation. For her role in the upcoming film Bugonia, set to premiere in October 2025, the Oscar winner shaved her head completely — a bold move that left fans stunned.
As both a mother and an artist, Emma Stone continues to captivate audiences with her authenticity, dedication, and willingness to embrace change — both on and off the screen.
