Gwyneth Paltrow Reacts to Amy Odell’s Biography
Although Gwyneth admitted she didn’t personally read the book, her husband Brad Falchuk did. “He was like, ‘It’s just bad. It’s really badly written.’ I was like, ‘Ok,’” she revealed. Falchuk reportedly described the book as, “It’s as if somebody put in a prompt in ChatGPT and said: mine every Daily Mail article and write a biography about Gwyneth.”

Gwyneth dismissed the claims made in the book, noting that many reported quotes attributed to her in People Magazineand other outlets were false.
Accusations of Sexism and Misrepresentation
The 53-year-old actress also criticized the biography for being sexist, contrasting her treatment with how male celebrities receive comprehensive biographies. “Why do the men get Walter Isaacson and I get this hack?” she quipped.
Additionally, Gwyneth addressed the book’s portrayal of her company, Goop, which allegedly included anonymous sources claiming her leadership fostered “chaos” internally. She firmly denied these claims. “That drives me insane because we have never had that,” she said, emphasizing her pride in Goop’s culture.
Acknowledging Challenges While Defending Goop’s Culture
While defending her company, Gwyneth admitted there have been minor issues. “Granted we’ve had a couple of toxic people, and because of my fear of confrontation, maybe I didn’t deal with it quickly enough. That does cascade down, and I totally take responsibility for that,” she explained.
Despite these challenges, she emphasized the positive work environment at Goop, stating, “We are such a good culture. It’s something that I am so proud of and worked so hard on.”
