After months of rumors and uncertainty, HBO has confirmed that Euphoria season three is on track for a January 2025 release. The announcement comes from Casey Bloys, HBO’s head of content, who addressed ongoing concerns about delays surrounding the hit show.
Speaking about the production status, Bloys reassured fans, saying, “We are shooting Euphoria,” and clarified that filming will begin almost exactly three years after the debut of season two. He further confirmed the premiere timeline, stating, “I think we have a start date, mid to late January. Nothing’s changed. Somebody said something online, and then this whole thing started.”
The confirmation was a welcome relief for fans who had been speculating about delays, especially after several of the show’s stars took on other high-profile projects. Many wondered if the cast’s other commitments might push back production even further. Bloys explained that these concerns were part of the original plan. “I know the show gets a lot of attention now because it has created some genuine movie stars,” he remarked. “And they have various projects that they are working on, but we are shooting this season, so nothing has changed.”
He also provided details on the season’s length, confirming that Euphoria season three will consist of eight episodes, staying true to the format that has made the show a cultural phenomenon.
With production officially underway and a confirmed release date, fans can finally look forward to the return of the beloved series in early 2025.
