Isabela Ferrer, who portrayed the younger version of Blake Lively’s character in It Ends With Us, is pushing back against Justin Baldoni amid his ongoing legal battle with Lively. Ferrer’s legal team claims that Baldoni, actor and filmmaker, has been attempting to “harass” her through a subpoena related to the case.
Ferrer Challenges Baldoni’s Motion
According to PEOPLE, Ferrer’s attorneys filed a rebuttal to Baldoni’s August 12 motion, which alleged that she ignored his subpoena. In their filing, Ferrer’s team stated that the motion was made “for improper purposes and with the aim of harassing” her rather than addressing legitimate legal concerns.
The rebuttal also highlighted issues with Baldoni’s company, Wayfarer Studios. Ferrer claims the studio failed to honor her acting contract, which required Wayfarer to cover her legal costs when she was first subpoenaed by Lively in February. Instead, the studio reportedly offered to pay only if Ferrer relinquished control over her response—conditions her attorneys argue would have prevented her from sharing documents that “reveal the true facts.”
Allegations of Harassment

Ferrer’s legal team further accused Baldoni of making “no effort to tailor the subpoena towards the production of new or different materials,” claiming that his actions are intended solely “to harass Ms. Ferrer.” They described both the subpoena and motion as “transparent efforts to exert pressure” on the actress.
Seeking Court Action
Ferrer’s attorneys are asking the court to reject Baldoni’s motion and to impose sanctions against him. This development adds another layer to the tense legal battle surrounding It Ends With Us and the allegations tied to the film’s production.
As the dispute unfolds, both Ferrer and her legal team remain steadfast in defending her rights and challenging actions they perceive as undue pressure from Baldoni.
