Tensions surrounding the legal battle between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively have intensified, with a crew member from It Ends With Us offering new insights into the ongoing conflict.
Talia Spencer, a storyboard artist on the film, appeared on 60 Minutes Australia this weekend and spoke out in support of Baldoni, the film’s director. Spencer described Baldoni as “kind and respectful” but hinted that Lively may have taken advantage of his demeanor during the production.
“I feel like maybe Blake sensed his kindness, mistook it for weakness, and tried to take advantage of it to gain control,” Spencer shared during the interview.

Spencer went on to suggest that Lively attempted to wrest control of the film from Baldoni and “probably” succeeded. She further claimed that this shift in control led to “a massive compromise” of Baldoni’s original vision for the film.
The legal dispute between the two began in December 2024, when Lively, 37, filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, 41, accusing him of sexual harassment and retaliatory behavior. Baldoni, in turn, denied the allegations and filed a countersuit in January, targeting Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and others for defamation and civil extortion. Lively’s legal team has strongly dismissed these counterclaims, calling them “meritless.”
As the case moves toward trial in 2026, Spencer expressed her hope for a swift resolution. “I hope that the truth comes out,” she said. “I hope that the innocent parties are proven innocent and we move on.”
The situation remains fluid, and with the trial set for 2026, it’s likely that more details about the dispute will emerge in the coming months.
