Jamie Foxx may have been joined by the “ghosts of girlfriends past” this Halloween. The Oscar-winning actor, 57, was spotted spending time with his ex-girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp in Miami on October 31, according to People magazine.
The former couple joined a group of friends for a festive evening that included a scenic tour of the Miami River before heading to the popular Greek restaurant Kiki on The River. Their friendly reunion marks the first time they’ve been seen together publicly since their split earlier this year.
A relationship rekindled—or just friendly exes?
Jamie and Alyce’s connection dates back to 2022, when she attended the premiere of his Netflix movie Day Shift. The pair went public in 2023 after being photographed enjoying dinner together in Malibu.

Their romance blossomed quickly, and Huckstepp was by Foxx’s side during one of the most challenging times in his life — his health scare in 2023, when the actor suffered a brain bleed that led to a stroke. Foxx opens up about that life-changing event in his upcoming Netflix special, Jamie Foxx: What Happened Was…, set to release in December 2024.
A brief breakup and multiple reunions
After dating for about a year and a half, multiple sources confirmed to People in January that the couple had split for good. Despite calling it quits, the two have crossed paths several times since.
In April 2024, they were seen leaving Nobu Malibu — the same restaurant where their romance first made headlines. Their recent Halloween reunion has now reignited curiosity about whether there’s still a spark between them.
Jamie Foxx staying busy and grateful
At the time of their breakup, an insider told People that the Ray star was focused on his work and recovery.
“Jamie is super busy, just the way he likes it. He has so much going on, he barely has time to stop and think about how blessed he is,” the source shared, adding that “he has been having a great time.”
With his career thriving again and his health back on track, Foxx’s Halloween outing might simply be a friendly catch-up — or perhaps the beginning of a new chapter for the on-and-off couple.
