Joe Jonas is sharing his thoughts on his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift’s latest album, The Life of a Showgirl — and his response has fans talking.
In a recent interview with Esquire, the 36-year-old musician revealed that he has listened to parts of Taylor’s new record, which was released earlier this month. Offering his honest opinion, Joe said,
“I’ve heard some of it. I think she’s obviously the biggest artist out there, and I think it’s good.”
He continued,
“Everybody’s got an opinion about it, but from what I’ve heard, there are some catchy melodies.”
Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl has dominated charts worldwide, with fans and critics alike praising its blend of cinematic storytelling and emotional depth. While Joe kept his comments brief, fans appreciated his respectful and supportive tone toward the pop superstar, more than a decade after their brief relationship made headlines.

Elsewhere in the interview, Joe opened up about his personal life, sharing insights into dating and fatherhood following his 2023 split from actress Sophie Turner.
The Cake by the Ocean singer admitted that his busy touring schedule makes it difficult to maintain a social life.
“Five shows in a row doesn’t make it easy to meet someone for coffee,” he said with a laugh.
He also clarified that he’s not on dating apps, though he occasionally connects with people online.
“I guess Instagram and TikTok are apps, and I’ve met people that way,” Joe added.
Despite the challenges of juggling fame, music, and parenting, Joe praised his ex-wife in a TalkShopLive interview, calling her an “incredible mom” to their two daughters.
“Co-parenting has been really positive,” he said, emphasizing that both he and Sophie prioritize their children’s happiness above all.
As Joe continues touring with the Jonas Brothers, and Taylor embarks on her next era with The Life of a Showgirl, both stars seem to be thriving — each carving out their own creative paths while maintaining mutual respect years after their teenage romance.
