Kanye West, the renowned rapper who officially changed his name to “Ye” in 2021, and his partner, Bianca Censori, find themselves at the center of a brewing controversy in Venice. The famous couple has reportedly been banned from a prominent boat company in the city after their recent behavior on board one of its vessels raised eyebrows and sparked outrage.

At the end of August, candid photographs surfaced of Kanye West and Australian architectural designer Bianca Censori enjoying a boat ride in the picturesque city of Venice. While such outings are not uncommon for celebrities, these particular images captured the couple in a series of compromising positions. West, aged 46, was photographed with his trousers down and his bottom exposed, while Censori, aged 28, appeared to be in a compromising posture between his legs.

Ban from the Boat Company:

In the wake of these revealing photos, the boat company involved in the incident took swift action. They issued a statement declaring that Kanye West and Bianca Censori are no longer welcome on their future boat trips. The ban effectively prohibits both West and Censori from utilizing the services of this well-known boat company, which has a history of serving celebrity clientele that includes the likes of Lady Gaga, Harry Styles, and Ben Affleck.

The company’s spokesperson explained that the boat driver responsible for the trip had not observed the inappropriate actions as they were primarily focused on navigating the waterways and ensuring safety. The statement emphasized that had the driver witnessed any lewd or indecent behavior, they would have immediately intervened and reported the transgressors to the relevant authorities.

A third person was also on board the taxi, accompanying Mr. and Mrs. West, and this individual obstructed the captain’s view toward the stern. The boat company, in its statement, distanced itself from such behavior and made it clear that Mr. West and his wife are no longer welcome on their boats.

Kanye West and Bianca Censori reportedly entered into a non-legally binding ceremony earlier this year, marking their first public appearance together in January. This event followed West’s divorce from reality TV star Kim Kardashian, with whom he shares four children.

Kanye West’s History of Controversies:

While Kanye West initially gained fame on the music scene with hits like “Stronger” (2007) and “Waves” (2016), his recent years have been marked by controversies, often overshadowing his musical achievements. His controversial remarks, erratic behavior, and statements considered antisemitic have drawn significant public attention.

In 2022, West faced consequences such as being dropped by major brands like Adidas and Balenciaga due to comments deemed “hateful and dangerous” toward Jewish people. He also had his ties severed with CAA, one of the most prominent celebrity talent agencies in the US. West’s Twitter account has been suspended and reactivated multiple times due to his online behavior.

West’s controversial statements included expressing affinity for Hitler during an appearance on right-wing commentator Alex Jones’ show Infowars. In another incident, he and right-wing commentator Candace Owens wore “White Lives Matter” T-shirts during Paris Fashion Week. Furthermore, West shared antisemitic conspiracy theories on Instagram, resulting in the suspension of his account.

Despite facing widespread criticism, including from fellow celebrities like Lizzo and John Legend, West defended his actions, stating that he “doesn’t believe” in the term antisemitism but expressed regret for hurting people and causing confusion.

In March of the same year, after a hiatus from Instagram, West returned to the platform with a post praising Jonah Hill for changing his perception of Jewish people and calling for avoiding hatred towards innocent individuals.

Kanye West and his partner Bianca Censori’s ban from a Venice boat company adds another chapter to the rapper’s history of controversies. Their recent boat ride in Venice captured in compromising positions led to their expulsion from the boat company’s services. As Kanye West continues to make headlines, it remains to be seen how these controversies will impact his career and public image in the long run.
