Kanye West, who recently collaborated with his daughter North on a song, has now unveiled a new project starring his son Saint. On Wednesday, March 19, the 47-year-old rapper took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce the release of a film featuring his 9-year-old child.
In his post, West shared details about the film, titled “THE BULLY FILM,” revealing that there are three versions: SCREENING VERSION, POST HYPE VERSION, and POST POST HYPE VERSION. He also posted a black-and-white photo of Saint, smiling broadly, while explaining that the initial link had experienced some issues with playback. The film itself, lasting nearly 45 minutes, showcases Saint in a wrestling ring fighting opponents with a mallet, set to the backdrop of West’s new tracks. Notably, the film does not feature any dialogue, focusing solely on the visuals and music.

The release of this film follows Kanye’s comments in February about how the inspiration for his new album stemmed from an interaction with his son. On The Download podcast, West shared that Saint had kicked another child during a play session, and when asked why, Saint responded, “Cause he weak.” Kanye reflected on this moment, noting that it revealed a “bully” side to his son, which later influenced the creative direction of his music.

West, who shares North, 11, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5, with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, recently stirred up controversy over a song collaboration with North. The track, titled “Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine,” also featured rapper Diddy, but Kim expressed her disapproval, saying that she had sent legal paperwork to prevent North from being involved in the song. Kanye, responding to the situation, sent a passionate message stating, “Amend it or I’m going to war. And neither of us will recover from the public fallout. You’re going to have to kill me.”
The ongoing tension between Kanye and Kim over their children’s involvement in his music highlights the complexities of their co-parenting dynamic.
