Kanye West’s former Malibu mansion is hitting the market again, and this time, it’s priced at a staggering $30 million. The rapper and fashion mogul, who once lived in this architectural wonder, is reportedly preparing to leave Hollywood behind following his ongoing controversies and public scrutiny.
The 4,700-square-foot beachfront home was originally purchased for $57.3 million but is now listed at a considerably lower price of $30 million. Just six months ago, West sold another Malibu property for $21 million, but this iconic residence is now making a comeback in the luxury real estate market.

Realtors Amanda Lynn and Dylan Eckardt are handling the sale, with Eckardt sharing with Variety, “This is one of the bigger listings for me and Amanda together. I’m going to sell it this time to a great collector who wants to finish a masterpiece.”
The mansion, designed by renowned Pritzker Prize-winning architect Tadao Ando, offers minimalist luxury at its finest. Amanda Lynn also shared the listing on Instagram, writing: “New Exclusive! $30,000,000. Seize this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a masterpiece designed by Tadao Ando. Serious inquiries only.”
While West was once known for his bold decisions, the demolition of parts of this mansion didn’t come without its own set of challenges. Contractor Tony Saxon, who oversaw the demolition work on the mansion, reflected humorously to The New Yorker, “It’s funny – and not funny, in a way – to say, ‘I’m the man who single-handedly destroyed this architectural masterpiece.’ But I pretty much did.”
As for West himself, who now goes by “Ye,” he is reportedly planning to leave Hollywood and embark on a new life in Europe, marking a significant departure from the intense media spotlight in the U.S. His decision comes after years of public controversies and the scrutiny surrounding his career.
This luxurious Malibu property offers the rare opportunity to own a piece of West’s history, but with a price tag that reflects its architectural significance and the allure of its previous owner. As Ye sets his sights on a new chapter in Europe, his former Malibu mansion stands as a symbol of his time in Hollywood.
