Kate Middleton made a graceful appearance alongside Prince William and their three children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—as the royal family marked the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day in London.
The Princess of Wales joined King Charles III, Queen Camilla, and other senior royals at the Queen Victoria Memorial outside Buckingham Palace to honor the end of World War II in Europe. The event was part of a series of commemorations paying tribute to the courage and sacrifice of wartime heroes.
Princess Catherine turned heads in a chic purple ensemble, showcasing her timeless fashion sense and royal elegance.
The commemorative ceremony also included appearances by Prince Edward, Duchess Sophie, Princess Anne, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, and Prince Edward, Duke of Kent—highlighting the united presence of the royal family in honoring British history.

In an official statement released earlier, Buckingham Palace confirmed that King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and members of the royal family would witness a military procession and an aerial flypast before hosting a special Tea Party at Buckingham Palace in honor of Second World War veterans.
Queen Camilla is also scheduled to visit the Tower of London on May 6 to view a new display of ceramic poppies—a symbolic installation in memory of fallen soldiers.
As part of the VE Day program, the royals will attend a Service of Thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey and a celebratory VE Day concert at Horse Guards Parade.
The royal family’s VE Day engagements will conclude with Princess Anne and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence leading ceremonies marking the 80th anniversary of the Liberation of Guernsey and Sark in the Channel Islands from May 9 to May 10.
