Katie Price has taken to Instagram to share a heartfelt message about motherhood, insisting she is not the “enemy” of her children and is not trying to control them.
This candid post comes amid speculation of tension between Katie and her 18-year-old daughter, Princess Andre, who recently debuted her own reality TV show, The Princess Diaries, on ITV2.
In her Instagram story, Katie wrote: “Your mom is not your enemy. She may not always say things the way you want to hear them, but her heart is always in the right place. She’s the one who worries when you’re hurting, prays when you’re lost, and stands by you even when the world doesn’t.”

She continued, “She’s not trying to control you. She’s trying to protect you. She may not be perfect, but she’s the only woman in this world who truly wants what’s best for you, even if it costs her everything.”
Recent reports have highlighted a perceived divide between Katie and Princess, though the young reality star has denied any rift, emphasizing her independence from her parents.
Despite Princess’s denials, Katie has voiced frustration about being excluded from her daughter’s show, claiming she was “not allowed” to participate. She also accused Princess’s management company, the CAN Group, of limiting her influence over her daughter’s career decisions.
On The Princess Diaries, Princess opens up about her difficult upbringing and how her mother’s turbulent love life affected her childhood. She revealed that witnessing Katie’s emotional breakdown during her third marriage was deeply unsettling and left her grappling with feelings of instability and emotional burden.
The complex mother-daughter dynamic continues to unfold in the public eye as both women navigate their personal and professional lives.
