Katy Perry had a humorous moment during a recent interview on the British talk show Lorraine, when host Ross King made a surprising confession about her fiancé, Orlando Bloom—only to reveal it was all in jest.
During the interview, King playfully told Perry, “I have a confession. I actually slept with your fiancé, Orlando.” He paused for effect before adding, “on a plane coming back from New York.” Perry’s initial reaction was one of brief shock, but she quickly caught on to the joke, responding with, “I love the dot, dot, dot about that.”
King then explained that his encounter with Bloom was far less scandalous than it sounded. He recalled that Bloom had simply tapped him on the shoulder while seated behind him during the flight. Perry, now relieved, jokingly replied, “Okay, good. Phew.” She also noted the importance of context in today’s world, quipping, “Context is really key these days. So little context about everything.”
Aside from the playful exchange, Perry also opened up about her relationship with Bloom, crediting his healthy habits for her own well-being. “My partner Orlando is a really good influence when it comes to diet,” she said. “He eats so well, and he works out all the time — almost to the point where it’s annoying,” Perry joked, attributing her good looks to his fitness routine.
Perry and Bloom, who are engaged and share a daughter together, often share glimpses of their supportive and fun-loving relationship with the public.
