Khloé Kardashian is speaking out in defense of music legend Kenneth ‘Babyface’ Edmonds after his recent viral interview at the 2025 Grammy Awards, which many considered disrespectful.

The 40-year-old reality star took to Instagram following the Grammys on Sunday, February 2, to share her frustration with the treatment Babyface received during the interview. In a passionate post, Kardashian criticized the journalists involved, condemning their behavior as disrespectful to the iconic rapper and producer.

“This is so disrespectful how Babyface was treated in this interview,” Kardashian wrote, expressing her dismay over how the music legend was handled. “Babyface has had such a significant impact on the music industry in so many ways.”

Kardashian’s post continued with an emotional defense of Babyface, calling it “maddening” to see someone of his stature and influence not given the respect they deserve. “He is a pioneer and deserves so much better than this,” Kardashian added, showing her admiration for the artist who has shaped the sound of multiple generations through his groundbreaking work as a songwriter, producer, and performer.

As a fan and supporter of Babyface, Kardashian also took the opportunity to express her appreciation for his work. “I love you @babyface. I am a forever fan and thankful for all that you have blessed us with. By the way—what a class act you are,” she wrote.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star further criticized the interviewers, Krystia Fauria and Leslie Ambriz, who interrupted Babyface’s time on the red carpet to speak with singer Chappell Roan. “Big or small, old or new, you don’t treat people like this. At least not in my eyes. There’s a way to handle this, and this was wrong in my opinion,” Kardashian continued.

In a second post, Kardashian made her stance clear with the bold statement: “No one puts Baby in a corner,” reinforcing her unwavering support for Babyface and his contribution to the music industry.

Khloé’s impassioned defense of Babyface highlights the respect and admiration she has for the artist, showing her commitment to standing up against disrespectful treatment, especially for those who have made an indelible mark in their field.
