Lamar Odom is revealing the details of his emotional reunion with ex-wife Khloé Kardashian, a moment teased in the trailer for The Kardashians season 6. This marks their first meeting in years, and it was orchestrated by their mutual friend, Malika Haqq, who played a key role in bringing them together.
In a candid interview on The Kyle & Jackie O Show, Lamar shared how Malika approached him during Super Bowl weekend in Las Vegas. “She came to me and said, ‘Lamar, I think it’s time for you and Khloé to meet. It’s been years,'” he recalled. Encouraged by her, Lamar decided to visit Khloé at her Hidden Hills home, bringing a bouquet of red roses as a heartfelt gesture.
What Lamar didn’t expect, however, was that the reunion would be filmed. “I went there, and there were cameras there, and I was like, ‘Oh, all right.’ It’s cool, I understand it,” he explained, accepting the reality of the situation.
While the reunion was filled with emotion, Lamar emphasized that they are not rekindling their romance. “Being her friend would be a blessing,” Lamar expressed. “So much time has passed, and people have changed — for the better.”
Khloé, in a confessional during the trailer, echoed Lamar’s sentiment, saying, “I honestly think timing is everything.” The trailer also shows Khloé’s mom, Kris Jenner, tearfully referring to Lamar as “the love of her life,” a reflection of the complicated and enduring bond between the former couple.
Their history together is far from simple. The pair married in 2009, but their relationship faced challenges, leading to their split in 2013. Despite their separation, Khloé was by Lamar’s side following his 2015 overdose, providing support during a turbulent time. Now, both appear to be in a place of healing and growth, looking back on their shared experiences with a sense of gratitude.
Their emotional reunion is just one of many moments to look forward to in The Kardashians season 6, which will premiere on February 6, exclusively on Hulu.
