Leonardo DiCaprio is opening up about his latest role in One Battle After Another, drawing humorous comparisons to Tom Cruise’s iconic Mission: Impossible character. The 50-year-old actor, who rose to fame with his legendary role in Titanic (1997), shared insights about his character, Bob Ferguson, in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
DiCaprio’s Take on Bob Ferguson

DiCaprio described his character as a flawed and comedic take on the action hero archetype.
“He’s trying to raise a daughter, and he doesn’t know how to do it right. When his daughter gets captured, why take the bathrobe off? You gotta go. You gotta go get your girl,” DiCaprio explained.
Highlighting the contrast with Tom Cruise’s precision in Mission: Impossible, DiCaprio added:
“It’s like the opposite of Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible. [Bob] does everything wrong. And he doesn’t land or stick any of his stunts.”
