Lily-Rose Depp, daughter of Hollywood legend Johnny Depp and French singer Vanessa Paradis, has opened up about her cherished childhood memories with her younger brother, Jack Depp, in a recent interview.
In a conversation with Natalie Portman for Interview magazine, the 25-year-old actress shared insights into her close bond with Jack, describing him as “the coolest person ever.”
Lily-Rose fondly recalled their shared fascination with vampire horror films during their youth, which has now come full circle with her role in the upcoming film Nosferatu. She revealed, “This one was particularly special for me because my brother and I were super obsessed with Dracula when we were younger. My brother even used to dress up like Dracula for school as a kid.”
The actress also shared how her role in Nosferatu earned her some “cool points” with her sibling. “When I got the part, I thought, ‘Wow, my brother’s finally going to think I’m cool,’” she joked.
Reflecting on the evolving sibling dynamic, Lily-Rose added, “It’s that classic thing with younger siblings—they think you’re so cool when you’re kids, but as you grow older, the tables turn. Now, I think he’s the cool one, and I’m always asking, ‘Let’s hang out!’ but he’s like, ‘I’m busy.’”
Lily-Rose has previously spoken about the influence of her famous parents. In a Vanity Fair interview, she gushed, “My parents are these incredible artists, and I have grown up with that.”
With her growing career and deep connection to her family, Lily-Rose continues to celebrate her roots while paving her own way in Hollywood.
