Lisa of BLACKPINK has thrilled fans with a major update—a new album is officially on the way. The beloved K-pop group is also preparing to hit the road with a massive world tour set to begin this summer.
In a recent interview with Variety, Lisa shared, “Actually, we were in the studio a few days ago.” She added that all four members are looking forward to reuniting and performing for fans around the globe. “We’re all super excited to get back together and go on tour. We really miss the Blinks and can’t wait to see them again.”
While Lisa didn’t share an official release date for the new BLACKPINK record, she encouraged fans to be patient, promising, “It’s coming soon. I promise. It’s about time.”
The world tour will launch in Seoul, South Korea, with two shows starting July 5. From there, BLACKPINK will head to North America, with scheduled stops in Inglewood, Chicago, Toronto, and New York. The tour will wrap up in Tokyo, Japan, with two final performances at Tokyo Dome in January 2026.
In addition to music, Lisa recently expanded her career into acting. She will appear in season three of HBO’s The White Lotus, taking on the role of Mook. Describing the experience, Lisa called it “the greatest honour” and expressed gratitude for the opportunity.
Fans can expect an exciting year ahead as BLACKPINK gears up for a major comeback, both musically and globally.
