Margot Robbie Enjoys Relaxing Greek Getaway After Iconic Barbie Role

Margot Robbie, renowned for her portrayal of the iconic doll Barbie in a box office hit that raked in over $1 billion, is taking a down-to-earth break in Greece. Amid the picturesque backdrop, Robbie displayed her relatable side as she engaged in heartwarming public displays of affection (PDA) with her husband and carried her own luggage, reminiscent of Barbie’s trademark pink hue, off a bustling ferry.

The actress, who reportedly earned $50 million for her role in Barbie, was captured in candid images obtained by DailyMail, indulging in tender moments with her producer husband, Tom Ackerley, during their well-deserved respite.

Robbie, 33, donned a high-cut, low-backed white swimsuit, believed to be a $150 piece from Norma Kamali, revealing a glimpse of side boob as she and Ackerley enjoyed the waters off the island of Sifnos.

The European getaway follows Robbie’s portrayal of Barbie in a Greta Gerwig-directed project, a role that is estimated to earn her a substantial $50 million in salary and bonuses.

Additionally, Robbie’s production company, LuckyChap, founded in 2014 with Ackerley and friends Josey McNamara and Sophia Kerr, has played a pivotal role in successful ventures such as “Promising Young Woman,” “Birds Of Prey,” and the series “Maid.”

Greta Gerwig, the director behind the Barbie movie, is also poised to reap rewards from its remarkable success. The film’s historic achievement of surpassing $1 billion in worldwide box office revenue solidified Gerwig’s place in history as the first female director to solely steer a movie to such remarkable financial heights.
