Meghan Markle is once again in the spotlight as her latest TV project faces mixed reactions from royal experts and critics. Despite the backlash, the Duchess of Sussex has found support from media commentators who applaud her creative direction and strategic partnership with Netflix.
At the start of 2025, Meghan made headlines by returning to social media with a major announcement—her new lifestyle series With Love, Meghan. The show marks her return to the public sphere and aims to offer wellness advice, home inspiration, and culinary content curated by the former Suits actress herself.

While the series has been met with skepticism by some who label the content as “unrelatable,” royal commentator Jennie Bond came to Meghan’s defense. In a statement reported by The Mirror, Bond highlighted Meghan’s savvy decision to offer content to Netflix that pulls back the curtain on the Sussexes’ private lives.
“It’s quite obvious that Netflix got involved with them because they wanted the inside story of their royal life. And they got it,” said Bond.
She acknowledged that the couple hasn’t delivered a wide range of successful content since their initial documentary series but noted that Meghan’s lifestyle project offers value.
“Meghan’s lifestyle show is perfectly pleasant and has some quite useful tips,” Bond added. “She was mocked for saying she wanted to ‘elevate’ ordinary things—but she’s quite right. If you watch any cookery program, professionals agree presentation is key.”
The supportive commentary comes at a time when Meghan and Prince Harry are also in the headlines due to reports of peace talks involving King Charles’ aides. While the couple continues to navigate their evolving role in the public eye, Meghan’s latest project seems to be winning over at least part of the audience.
