Meghan Trainor is keeping it real about the ups and downs of motherhood.
In a recent appearance on Kylie Kelce’s podcast, Not Gonna Lie, the singer and new mom opened up about a parenting challenge she didn’t expect after welcoming her third child.
“I’m Meghan Trainor, and I’m not gonna lie, I didn’t expect to pick this many boogers as a mom. Nobody warned me,” she confessed.
Trainor shares her sons Barry, two, and Riley, five, and daughter Mikey Moon, three months, with her husband Daryl Sabara.
Describing the reality of parenting three young children, she added:
“I have three now, and it’s just like one’s infected in a weird place, one has diarrhea plus pinkeye, and the other one’s just not sleeping or eating. We’re in the storm.”
Mikey Moon, Trainor’s first daughter, arrived on January 20 via a surrogate. The singer announced the news on social media:
“Our baby girl Mikey Moon Trainor has finally made it to the world thanks to our incredible, superwoman surrogate. We are forever grateful to all the doctors, nurses, teams who made this dream possible. We had endless conversations with our doctors in this journey and this was the safest way for us to be able to continue growing our family.”
Meghan Trainor’s candid take on motherhood shows the real challenges—and the joy—of raising three kids while balancing family life in the public eye.
