In a recent Jonas Brothers concert, Nick Jonas didn’t hold back as he sternly scolded fans for tossing objects onto the stage. The incident occurred during the band’s performance of their hit song “Rollercoaster” in Sacramento, California, on a Monday evening. Fans began throwing bracelets at the 30-year-old singer, leading to his visibly irritated response.
Videos of the incident, widely shared on social media, captured the “Camp Rock” star attempting to catch some of the items before shaking his head disapprovingly. He then firmly instructed the concertgoers to “stop” their actions, making it clear that he wouldn’t tolerate such behavior.
Viewers of the videos expressed a range of reactions to Nick Jonas’ reaction. One fan remarked, “He admonished the crowd as if they were all his own children. I would be quite apprehensive.” Another individual noted, “He handled it adeptly, effectively conveying his message without coming across as harsh. It was reminiscent of a fatherly approach.”
A third fan humorously added, “I saw this and was like oooooo someone’s in trouble lol.”
Nick Jonas, currently on tour with his brothers Joe and Kevin, is not the only artist to face on-stage incidents involving objects thrown by the audience. Several other artists, including Harry Styles, Bebe Rexha, Drake, and Kelsea Ballerini, have also experienced similar incidents while performing in recent months.
Notably, Bebe Rexha encountered a significant incident earlier this summer when she was struck in the eye with a cellphone during a concert in New York City, resulting in an injury.
Despite the concerning trend of objects being thrown at artists during performances, the Jonas Brothers managed to avoid serious injuries. However, their tour garnered attention when Joe Jonas addressed his divorce from Sophie Turner over the weekend, showing that even amid challenging moments, the show must go on.
