Prince William, currently in the United States to participate in the Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit, has shared his heartfelt wish to return to the US in the company of his beloved wife, Kate Middleton, and their three children.
Following the conclusion of the summit held at the iconic Plaza Hotel, the Prince of Wales embarked on a poignant visit to a New York City firehouse located near the hallowed grounds of the 9/11 tragedy. During this visit, Prince William had the privilege of meeting with some of the city’s brave firefighters.
In a touching and candid moment with enthusiastic fans near the Ground Zero memorial, where the towering Twin Towers once stood prior to the devastating events of September 11, 2001, one inquisitive admirer posed the question, “Are you going to come with Catherine and the kids one day?” Prince William responded with warmth and sincerity, saying, “One day I’d love to.”
Notably, on this particular trip to the United States, Kate Middleton did not accompany her husband. This decision is likely rooted in their commitment to maintaining their children’s daily school routines and fulfilling various local engagements. Nevertheless, it’s essential to recognize that Kate did participate in the Earthshot Prize event held in Boston last year, further underlining the couple’s shared dedication to environmental causes.
Looking ahead, this year’s Earthshot Prize awards ceremony is set to take place in Singapore on November 7. During the morning session of the Innovation Summit, Prince William expressed his genuine enthusiasm for the upcoming event, stating, “We’re super excited about going to Singapore.”
Prince William founded the Earthshot Prize in 2020, marking a significant milestone in his ongoing efforts to champion a diverse range of initiatives aimed at combating the pressing global issue of climate change. With his commitment to this cause, the Prince continues to inspire positive action on a global scale.
