Prince William had a memorable father-son outing with his eldest child, Prince George, in Paris, leaving behind Kate Middleton and their two younger children, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. The pair attended the Champions League match between PSG and Aston Villa at the Parc des Princes stadium, with the rest of the Wales family staying home for a quieter evening.
Speaking with TNT Sports about the outing, William shared, “I’ve left the other two at home, probably watching tonight, so we’ll wait and see who they support.” While Kate, Charlotte, and Louis sat this one out, it’s likely that they were enjoying the match from the comfort of their own home.

The event marked a special moment for 11-year-old George, who was experiencing a “night out away from home” at a high-profile sports event. Joining them in the stands was Thomas van Straubenzee, who is Princess Charlotte’s godfather.
Although William emphasized that he’s “generally very open” to his children supporting any team, he couldn’t help but admit to a slight bias. Given his strong love for football, it seems George is already following in his father’s footsteps, having attended major matches such as the Euro 2024 and Euro 2020 finals.

Currently, the Wales family is enjoying some well-deserved downtime during their Easter break from royal duties. They are likely spending the holiday at their peaceful countryside retreat, Anmer Hall, in Norfolk.
The royal family is expected to make their next public appearance at the annual Easter Sunday service on April 20, marking a return to their public duties after their family break.
