Rihanna has fans buzzing after legendary rapper RZA hinted at the name of her unborn third child. The 37-year-old singer, who shares two sons with partner A$AP Rocky, previously named her firstborn RZA in honor of the iconic Wu-Tang Clan rapper.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE on Monday, August 11, the 56-year-old hip-hop legend was asked to predict the name of Rihanna’s soon-to-arrive baby, drawing inspiration from his Wu-Tang Clan family. Referring to his late bandmate Ol’ Dirty Bastard, RZA suggested, “You know what? OBD, because you know the legend must live on.”
Earlier this year, RZA told CNN that he felt it was a “great honor” that Rihanna chose his name for her firstborn. During the recent conversation, he added, “It’s a great honor to know that there’s another generation that’s not even my own household that feels the strength and the inspiration of that name. RZA is not only a name, it’s a title. So it’s an honor, and I salute her and A$AP and their family. All the blessings in the world from me.”

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have previously revealed that they want their children’s names to start with the letter “R,” continuing a meaningful naming tradition.
The pregnancy news was first shared by the couple on May 5, 2025, during the Met Gala, where Rihanna proudly showcased her baby bump on the red carpet.
For context, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, 36, began dating in November 2020 and have since built a family while maintaining high-profile careers in music and fashion.
