Robert Pattinson, best known for his iconic role in Twilight, recently opened up about an unusual eating habit that he admitted has been labeled “disgusting” by some. In a candid conversation, the actor revealed that his career, with its intense demands and busy schedule, often leads him to develop peculiar routines.
Pattinson explained that he tends to become fixated on certain behaviors, especially when juggling multiple projects. “I’m kind of like a kid. I’m doing a lot of jobs in a row, and I get very obsessed with needing a regimented routine—otherwise, I’d feel crazy afterward,” he shared.
This tendency to form repetitive habits led to Pattinson eating salmon almost exclusively for months. He shared, “I was having lunch yesterday and thought, ‘I can’t taste salmon anymore.’ That’s when I realized I’ve been eating nothing but salmon for months.”
The actor humorously described his fish-heavy diet, saying, “It’s like I have a seal’s diet: I’ve genuinely been eating salmon three times a day.”
In the past, Pattinson’s diet choices have been similarly unconventional. He recalled a time when he would eat only tuna with Cholula sauce directly from the can while on film sets. “Someone saw me doing it once and they were like, ‘That’s absolutely disgusting,’” he said, which prompted him to switch to his current salmon routine.
Pattinson’s candid remarks provide a glimpse into the quirky side of the actor’s life and how his work sometimes influences his personal habits.
