Legendary Hollywood actress Sandra Bullock has shared a rare and candid reflection on her traumatic experience with stalking. The 61-year-old star, known for roles in Bird Box and The Proposal, revealed how a terrifying incident in 2014 continues to affect her life years later.
In 2014, Bullock endured a frightening ordeal when a mentally unwell stalker broke into her home while she was inside. The experience left a deep impact, prompting the actress to question her safety and daily routines.
“It makes me think, Do I really have to go outside and navigate the world?” Bullock confessed in a recent interview with Vanity Fair magazine.

She explained the pervasive nature of stalking incidents faced by celebrities, many of which remain unknown to the public. “There’s the cases where they got into the house, the cases where they’re outside the house, the cases where you’re on a film set and they figured out where you are, and the cases that no one hears about,” Bullock shared.
Reflecting on how these ongoing threats shape her mindset, Bullock admitted, “It’s ongoing. It’s not a one-off. And it does create a mindset where your home also unfortunately becomes your fortress.”
Despite the challenges, Sandra Bullock continues to thrive professionally. She is set to star alongside Nicole Kidman in the upcoming film Practical Magic 2, exciting fans eager to see her return to the big screen.
