Sydney Sweeney and her ex-fiancé, Jonathan Davino, have managed to remain friends after their breakup, all thanks to a shared project that continues to keep them connected: a property they are renovating together.
The 27-year-old Euphoria actress and 41-year-old producer purchased a $6.2 million fixer-upper in Bel Air in May 2023, and despite their split, both have stayed committed to completing the extensive renovations. Sources close to the pair say the two have remained cordial and are continuing to work together on the home, which was originally meant to be their family residence.

An insider revealed to Us Weekly that Sweeney is “extremely passionate” about the project, explaining that their shared focus on the house has helped them maintain a positive relationship. “This home was supposed to be their family home together,” the source added, noting that neither party has decided what will happen to the property after the breakup.
While Sweeney and Davino have split, they have kept things amicable. The producer has reportedly understood Sweeney’s reasons for ending their engagement, and the two are said to have discussed the potential future of the home once renovations are completed. The couple is considering selling the property for a profit, but no final decisions have been made yet.
Though Sweeney could choose to “buy Jonathan out if she wanted to,” the actress already owns two other homes—one in Florida and another in Los Angeles, where she primarily resides and feels comfortable.
This comes after the ex-couple was spotted having lunch together at Beverly Glen Deli in Los Angeles. They were seen spending an hour at the eatery before leaving together and later walking Sweeney’s dog, Tank. Despite their breakup, the two seem to have found a way to keep their friendship intact, continuing to work on the property and share moments together as they navigate this new chapter.
