In a heartfelt Instagram post, Taylor Swift expressed her deep appreciation for Kendrick Lamar, who re-recorded his verse for the song “Bad Blood” featured on the album “1989 (Taylor’s Version).”

Taylor Swift, a Grammy-winning artist, has been diligently re-recording her albums to regain control over her musical work. “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” is the latest addition to this series.

In her Instagram message, Taylor thanked Kendrick Lamar for his contribution, specifically highlighting the experience of witnessing Lamar create and record his verses, which she described as one of the most inspiring moments in her life. She praised Lamar’s exceptional talent and how he elevated the song while demonstrating kindness to everyone involved in the project.

The post included a snapshot from the original recording session, featuring Taylor and Lamar seated together on a couch. Taylor fondly recalled the excitement of the crowd during “The Eras Tour,” chanting Lamar’s iconic line from the song.

Taylor marveled at the fact that Kendrick Lamar willingly agreed to re-record his verse, describing it as a surreal and bewildering experience. She concluded her message with joy, announcing the availability of the “Bad Blood Remix (featuring Kendrick Lamar)” on the 1989 Deluxe Edition. This collaborative effort showcases the power of artists coming together to create music that resonates with fans.
