Tom Hardy’s MobLand Shatters Streaming Records with Massive Debut

Tom Hardy’s latest crime drama, MobLand, has taken the streaming world by storm, breaking records with its impressive debut. Premiering last Sunday on Paramount+, the show has already made a major impact, setting a new record as the streaming platform’s most-watched debut to date. An astounding 2.2 million viewers tuned in to catch Hardy’s performance in the action-packed series.

The show, which boasts an impressive cast, features Hollywood icons like Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren as members of the powerful Harrigan crime family in London. When a rival gang threatens their territory, the Harrigans call in Harry Da Souza (played by Tom Hardy) to defend their interests.

Created by a powerhouse team, MobLand is directed by Guy Ritchie, with Top Boy creator Ronan Bennett penning the scripts. With these major talents involved, it’s no wonder the 10-part series has quickly become one of 2025’s most anticipated shows.

Not only has MobLand surpassed other Paramount+ favorites like the Yellowstone prequel 1923 and Taylor Sheridan’s Landman, but it’s also positioned itself as a must-watch for crime drama enthusiasts.

The success of MobLand has set high expectations for the rest of the season, and fans are eager to see what unfolds next in this high-stakes world of power, crime, and family drama.
