In a recent video on X, Usher and Rihanna showcased their mutual respect and admiration for each other’s talents. The 35-year-old Rihanna was asked for advice for Usher, who is set to headline the Super Bowl halftime show in February 2024.

At the Fenty x Puma Creeper Phatty launch party, Rihanna responded emphatically, stating, “Hell no! I can’t give Usher no advice!” She went on to express her admiration for Usher, describing him as a natural and a legend who has been in the industry since his teenage years. Rihanna expressed excitement about entertainers like Usher who are built for the stage and noted his recent performance in Vegas, asserting that he is here to stay.

Flattered by Rihanna’s comments, the 45-year-old Usher retweeted the video, expressing his gratitude with the words, “Real recognize real. Thank U Queen.”

Rihanna’s comments come from her own experience headlining the Super Bowl halftime show in February 2023, where she also announced her second pregnancy. Usher, announced as the next Super Bowl halftime performer in September, shared his excitement, calling it “an honor of a lifetime” and promising a show like nothing seen before.
