Zendaya is sharing what it’s really like to be a “dog mom” to her adorable 9-year-old miniature schnauzer, Noon. The 28-year-old Euphoria star appeared in a new Vanity Fair video posted on Wednesday, where she talked candidly about the joy Noon brings to her life—and some of the humorous challenges of being his mom.
“He makes me very happy. He brings a lot of joy to all the sets we’ve been on,” Zendaya said with a smile. The Disney alum also revealed her sweet affection for her furry companion, saying, “It’s hard not to be obsessed with this face.”
Despite her deep bond with Noon, Zendaya admitted with a laugh that she’s not his number one favorite person. “His favorite place is probably anywhere my mom is, Darnell is, or Tom is,” she shared, listing her dog’s preferred people—her mother, her close friend Darnell, and her boyfriend, actor Tom Holland, who stars alongside her in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film. “He loves all three of them more than he loves me.”
Even though she’s not his top choice, Zendaya remains devoted to her pup. She confessed to being a little indulgent with Noon, although she avoids giving him too many treats because of his sensitive stomach. This sensitivity has even led to some funny and slightly awkward situations, including one in Venice when the lack of a nearby park created an unexpected challenge.
Zendaya recounted a memorable moment with the Vanity Fair team, laughing as she remembered what happened when Noon needed a bathroom break. “There is a picture of me, kind of looking a little bit glamorous, with a doggy poo bag in my hand,” she said, describing the scene with humor.
While balancing her work life and her beloved pet, Zendaya’s affection for Noon is clear—and the joy she finds in sharing her journey as a dog mom is a heartwarming side of the star. Zendaya and her boyfriend, Spider-Man: No Way Home co-star Tom Holland, have been dating since 2021, and it seems that Tom holds a special place in both Zendaya’s and Noon’s hearts.
