The health authorities of Florida have issued an alert in Broward County due to the increasing cases of the dengue virus. Broward County is now encountering the familiar issue as Miami-Dade County where the virus is spreading.
In Florida, this year, there have been 10 cases of dengue reported, with the majority emerging in Miami-Dade County. Most of the 10 dengue cases were reported in July.
Last year, there were two cases of locally contracted dengue, according to the health department of Broward County.
