Kate Middleton shared a rare video from home featuring her husband, Prince William, and their children, as she announced the completion of her chemotherapy treatment for cancer.
In the video posted on X Monday, the Prince and Princess of Wales are seen walking with their kids — Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6 — through a wooded trail.
At one point in the video, Middleton leans her head on William’s shoulder as they sit together, holding hands.
The children also shared a sweet moment, with George asking, “Is this filming?”
Alongside the video, Middleton included a heartfelt message announcing that she has finished her chemotherapy treatment for cancer.
“As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment,” she shared.
“The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.”
Middleton, 42, explained that her cancer journey has been “complex, scary and unpredictable” for her and her family, offering her a new outlook on life.
“This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted,” she added.
The mother of three shared that she is now focusing on staying cancer-free.
“Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes,” she wrote.
“I am however looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can.”
Middleton also voiced her and William’s gratitude, noting, “We are so grateful for the support we have received and have drawn great strength from all those who are helping us at this time.”
