Prince William has revealed the biggest fear of his life — the uncertain future his children may face if global environmental issues are not addressed.
In a heartfelt interview with HELLO!, the Prince of Wales spoke candidly about his hopes and concerns for Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, emphasizing the urgent need to protect the planet for future generations.

“As a father, I think constantly about the world my children will inherit,” he said. “I want them to grow up surrounded by nature, opportunity, and a sense of hope about the future. But I also know that unless we act boldly now, that future is at risk.”

William, who founded the Earthshot Prize in 2020 to reward innovative solutions to environmental challenges, is preparing to attend this year’s ceremony in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Wednesday, November 5.
The royal shared that his dedication to climate action is deeply rooted in his role as a father — not only to his own children but to all children worldwide, including his nephew and niece, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, who live in California with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Although the interview briefly touched on the turmoil surrounding his uncle Prince Andrew, William chose not to comment, keeping the focus on his environmental mission and his children’s future.
His comments underscore a growing sense of urgency within the royal family to lead by example in addressing the planet’s most pressing environmental threats.
