Prince William and Kate lead Royal Easter as Prince Andrew’s daughters Beatrice and Eugenie skip service

Prince William and Kate Middleton led the largest royal gathering since the arrest of his disgraced uncle, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, during the Easter Sunday service at St George’s Chapel.

The couple was accompanied by their children — Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis — as they walked ahead of the royal family down the hill toward the chapel in blustery weather.

Princess Anne and her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, followed, along with Prince Edward and his son James, Viscount Severn.

King Charles III and Queen Camilla arrived by car and were greeted by family members before entering the chapel.

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie did not attend, reportedly due to “alternative plans” approved by the King. This comes after Kate Middleton recently revealed she has begun a course of preventative chemotherapy following her cancer diagnosis.

Royal expert Rob Shuter claimed that Prince William sidelined Beatrice and Eugenie from the service, suggesting, “this isn’t a scheduling issue — it’s a power move.”

The event marked a significant moment for the royal family, showing Prince William and Kate Middleton leading the family in public duties while navigating private and sensitive matters behind the scenes.
