Kensington Palace has released a video showcasing Prince William’s meeting with Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II of Jordan at Windsor Castle. The two leaders engaged in discussions aimed at strengthening relations between the United Kingdom and Jordan.
The Prince and Princess of Wales’s social media accounts shared the clip, featuring the future King warmly welcoming Crown Prince Hussein. The post was captioned: “Welcoming The Crown Prince of Jordan, Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, to Windsor this morning.”
Meanwhile, the Palace confirmed that Princess Kate will join Prince William at Holocaust Memorial Day events in London today (Monday, January 27), marking her gradual return to royal duties.
The royal couple will attend the official commemoration, which observes the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, a former Nazi concentration camp.
Prince William, 42, is set to deliver a reading during the ceremony and will light a candle alongside young representatives from the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust and its partner organizations.
The annual event will also feature an address by Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, who is expected to pay tribute to the victims and survivors of the Holocaust. Following the ceremony, Prince William will hold a private meeting with the Prime Minister.
While meetings between the heir to the throne and the Prime Minister are customary, details of their discussions remain private and are not disclosed to the public.
The day’s events highlight the royal couple’s ongoing commitment to honoring historical memory and fostering diplomatic relations.
