Queen Elizabeth II label Donald Trump ‘very rude’, claims new biography

Queen Elizabeth II reportedly discovered Donald Trump to be “very rude” during his visit to the UK, according to a new biography of the late monarch.

The late queen hosted Trump on two occasions during her reign and seemingly “particularly disliked” how he kept looking over her shoulder as though “in search of others more interesting.”

She also speculated about the relationship between the former US president and his wife Melania, thinking he “must have some sort of arrangement” with her, as reported by MailOnline.

These bold assertions are presented by Craig Brown in his new book, ‘A Voyage Around The Queen,’ which details a conversation said to have occurred at a lunch “weeks after” one of Trump’s visits.

Brown notes that “over the course of her reign, Her Majesty entertained many controversial foreign leaders, including Bashar al-Assad, Robert Mugabe, Idi Amin, Donald Trump, Emperor Hirohito, and Vladimir Putin.”

He urges that while she may not have enjoyed their company, she might have expressed a subtle word of disapproval after their departure.

Brown continues, stating that “a few weeks after President Trump’s visit, for instance, she confided in one lunch guest that she found him ‘very rude’: she particularly disliked the way he couldn’t stop looking over her shoulder, as though in search of others more interesting.”

She also speculated that Trump “must have some sort of arrangement” with his wife Melania, questioning why she would have stayed married to him otherwise.

Trump, on the other hand, was reportedly confident that he had been the queen’s favorite guest.

The two first met in 2018, a year after Trump took office as the 45th US President. His visit sparked outrage, with protesters in London taking to the streets and flying a giant balloon depicting Trump as a baby.

Although considered a state visit, it was labeled a “working visit” to help reduce tensions.
