Cristiano Ronaldo was awestunned by the appearance of the Undertaker as the WWE superstar made a guest appearance before the Riyad Cup final but the iconic footballer Ronaldo did not have the best days on the field as Al-Nassr lost the match 0-2.
Sergej Milinlovic-Savic and Salem Al-Dawsari made sure that Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr did not get much of a chance to dominate.
The game opened with intense competition, but it was Al-Hilal who broke the deadlock in the 17th minute through the skillful play of Milinkovic-Savic. His goal set the tone for the match, giving Al-Hilal an early advantage.
As the game progressed, Al-Nassr, despite having Cristiano Ronaldo in their ranks, found themselves unable to penetrate Al-Hilal’s robust defense. Ronaldo’s presence, while influential, was not enough to turn the tide of the game on this occasion.
In a display of local talent, Al-Dawsari doubled Al-Hilal’s lead, securing the victory and ensuring that the coveted Riyadh Cup would be adorned in the blue and white colors of Al-Hilal.
This triumph added another prestigious trophy to Al-Hilal’s already impressive collection, which includes numerous domestic league titles and cups, as well as continental accolades.
The win not only provided bragging rights over Al-Nassr but also continued Al-Hilal’s dominance in recent head-to-head encounters, marking their seventh victory in the last nine meetings between the two sides.
Al-Nassr is currently placed second in the table in the Saudi Pro League with 46 points thanks to wins in 15 out of 19 matches. Al-Hilal, on the other hand, is sitting on top with 53 points courtesy of 17 runs from 19 games.
