Neymar, a Brazilian star footballer, might have to wait until next month to make his debut for Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal because of a slight injury, coach Jorge Jesus said.
Last Tuesday, Neymar joined Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal from Paris St Germain (PSG) on a two-year contract until 2025 that L’Equipe, a French Newspaper said that the 31-year-old could earn 160 million euros ($174 million).
On Saturday, Jesus said after a greeting ceremony in front of 60,000 viewers at the King Fahd International Stadium that Brazil’s Neymar is an innovative and creative footballer, his experience will help us to enhance, but he has a minor injury now and I don’t know when he will return. Maybe he will be ready in mid-September.
The Al-Hilal coach also voiced his shock at the addition of Neymar to the Brazil squad for two World Cup qualifiers next month.
He added that he don’t know how the Brazilian national team could have called him, he is not ready.
