WWE announces partnership deal with online streaming platform Twitch

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) announced that they’ve signed a multi-year partnership deal with streaming platform Twitch. WWE is likely to re-introduce its channel, set to feature live and exclusive content with WWE Superstars.

The entertainment company reported that its Twitch channel will also stream all premium live event press conferences and other live productions. The company’s press conferences will continue to stream on other platforms as well.

While in the past, Twitch has been a source of controversy for WWE. Back in 2020, the company urged Skill to deactivate their Twitch accounts before then presenting an agreement that allowed wrestlers to continue streaming.

This past April, a deal between WWE and Twitch permitted talent to get back on the online platform with few rules, and it seems this new partnership is a continuation of that association.

Even before the April announcement, some WWE Superstars have slowly returned to Twitch. It remains to be seen if other WWE Superstars who halted streaming, such as AJ Styles, could return.
