Today, on February 24, 2023, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine reaches its first year. A year of hardships, mourns, deaths, destruction, and many things that badly impact the life of Ukrainian, continuing.
On February 24, 2022, Vladimir Putin launches what he describes as a “special military operation”. Putin ordered tens of thousands of Russian troops into neighboring Ukraine from the north, east, and south. Russia’s heavy war machines diminished homes, hospitals, and schools, killing more than ten thousand people.
Dead bodies lie in the streets, in gardens, and houses. Ukrainians are often confined for hours in bomb shelters to protect themselves. While many have been in dire need of food and other aid. In Winter, the Russian troops attacked the power supply that left many houses and shelters without heat, and water.
