Donald Trump says he will declassify documents related to 9/11, Jeffrey Epstein, and John F. Kennedy if he is re-elected.
During an appearance on Fox News’s Fox and Friends show on Sunday, the former President was asked individually if he would declassify the material. To each question, Trump responded with a simple “Yep.”
Trump also mentioned that during his presidency, he declassified “a lot of material” related to the Kennedy assassination case.
The 45th President of the US also issued a warning to his competitors as his election campaign faces further disruptions due to additional legal troubles.
He told Fox that he plans to get his revenge on his enemies by defeating Joe Biden in November.
Trump said: “My revenge will be success.
“These are bad people. These people are sick, and they do things that are so destructive… if it weren’t me, they’d be going after somebody else, and I know a lot of the competition. They wouldn’t do so well.”
His comments come after he was found guilty on all 34 criminal counts in his hush money trial. Trump was found to have falsified business records after paying adult film star Stormy Daniels to cover up an alleged affair.
Following the trial’s conclusion, Trump criticized the judgment and labeled the US a “fascist state.” Meanwhile, Daniels has called for Trump to be jailed following the guilty verdict.
Daniels reportedly said: “I think he should be sentenced to jail and some community service working for the less fortunate or being the volunteer punching bag at a women’s shelter.”
In reflecting on the trial, she expressed, “You always feel like you’re the bad guy, even when you’re not just being up on that standard.
“Being in court was so intimidating with the jurors looking at you but I’m glad that the stuff came out in court that wanted to come out and prove, like I said, I’ve been telling the truth the entire time.
“It’s not over for me. It’s never going to be over for me. Trump may be guilty, but I still have to live with the legacy.”
