Tucker Carlson appeared on Joe Rogan’s recent podcast where he told a weird story about conservative writer and his former boss, John Podhoretz.
In the 1990s, Carlson worked for John Podhoretz at The Weekly Standard. During last Friday’s edition of The Joe Rogan Experience, Carlson told the host Podhoretz” was one of the weirdest, most unhappy people I’ve ever met in my life.”
Carlson said that “he would come in my office occasionally and had a hairy back and he would rub it against the door frame…(making a grunting noise) and, like, say these kinds of obscure things. He was stupid, but he didn’t know that he was — I mean, he was actually kind of dumb.
Tucker has hosted his show on X, formerly known as Twitter, ever since he was fired from Fox News about a year ago in association with the Dominion Voting System court filing that Fox settled for $787 million over false 2020 presidential election claims.
Podhoretz, earlier this week, slammed one of Carlson’s broadcasts by tweeting, “Anti Semite filth says what?”
Carlson described the broadcast thusly “Ep. 91 How does the government of Israel treat Christians? In the West, Christian leaders don’t seem interested in knowing the answer. They should be. Here’s the view of a pastor from Bethlehem.”
Podhoretz has been tweeting up a barrage lately about anti-Semitic protests across the country, thrashing everyone from Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), whom he called a “psychotic Karen,” to former MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan, whom he called a “moral amoeba.”
