On Thursday, North Korea accused the United States of pushing the Ukraine crisis toward a global nuclear disaster by providing F-16 fighter jets to Ukrainian forces, saying the US had no authority to condemn North Korea’s military collaboration with Russia.
Pyongyang has previously criticized Washington for providing weapons including cluster munitions to Kyiv and refused that it had supplied artillery, missiles, and rockets to Moscow despite its backing of Russia over its battle with Ukraine.
Kang Sun Nam, the defense minister of North Korea, said in a statement that the US has no lawful right or ethical reason to condemn ordinary collaboration between Russia in the defense field.
North Korea has aimed to heighten ties with Moscow and last month invited Sergei Shoigu, the Russian defense minister, to events marking the 70th anniversary of the end of the Korean War.
The US is accountable for pushing the Kyiv crisis to the point of a global nuclear war by providing F-16 fighter jets to the Zelensky puppet regime, Kang said.
We once again send our support and solidarity to the Russian people’s battle of righteousness waged to protect its sovereign rights and achieve international justice, he added.
