On Wednesday, Sergei Shoigu, Russia’s Defense Minister praises his country’s, Russia, “important” partnership with North Korea during a meeting with Kang Sun Nam, North Korea’s Defense Minister, in Pyongyang.
In a ministry statement, Shoigu said that for Moscow, Pyongyang is a vital partner, as we both share a mutual border and prosperous history of cooperation.
In a footage released by the defense ministry, it can be seen that a roundtable meeting with defense officials, in which Shoigu said to contribute to bolstering partnership between our ministries of defense.
Both delegations of Moscow and Beijing, North Korea’s first foreign visitors since its pandemic border closure, entered North Korea to attend the events of the Korean War anniversary.
