The United States accused China to provide lethal support to Russia in the Ukraine war. On Sunday, the US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken blamed China as US-China relations have been impaired after the US shoot down a Chinese spy balloon this month.

The European Union give an alarming situation in the Ukraine conflict with Russia, as the severe ammunition shortages facing Ukrainian forces have to be overcome within weeks.

China was now considering providing lethal support to Moscow ranging from ammunition to the weapons themselves. We’ve made very clear to them that that would cause a serious problem for us and in our relationship.”

Blinken told CBS

On Saturday he met with his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi while attending the Munich Security Conference. At the Munich Security Conference, the Chief of EU policy, Josep Borrell sounded an alarm regarding dwindling supplies of bullets and similar munitions in Ukraine as it has to fight back against Russia’s invasion.

Let’s accelerate our military support to Ukraine because Ukraine is in a critical situation from the point of view of ammunition available. This shortage of ammunition has to resolve quickly, it’s a matter of weeks.”

The US concerning that China tries to deepen its knots with Russia despite the conflict. But Wang called it propaganda and insisted that Beijing would only support dialogue and peace talks.

Blinken told ABC, US President Joe Biden had warned his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, as long ago as last March against sending weapons to Russia. According to an administration source, since that time, China has not crossed that line, including by holding off on selling weapons for use on the battlefield.

It would be a serious mistake for China to provide Russia with weapons.
Doing so now would be dumber than dirt. It would be like buying a ticket on the Titanic after you saw the movie.”

Lindsey Graham-US Republican senator

I had strong indications that the US will soon train Ukrainian fighter pilots, which would represent a further step in the West’s gradually escalating efforts to arm Ukraine. I believed the United States should declare Russia a state sponsor of terror for its actions in Ukraine — which would mean that China or any other country supplying it with arms would face sanctions.”

Graham-known as well-informed foreign policy hawk.

The meeting between Blinken and Wang didn’t appear to smooth over recent after US jets shot down the Chinese balloon on February 4.

Blinken told CBS that I told Wang that the Chinese balloon incident was completely unacceptable and shouldn’t ever happen again.

While Wang dismissed the US allegations of high-altitude spying in uncharacteristically strong language, calling them “hysterical and absurd.”
