Earlier Tuesday, Russian Sukhoi jets had “destroyed” a Ukrainian “reconnaissance boat” in the Black Sea, the defense ministry of Russia said.
The defense ministry said on Telegram that tonight, the Su-30cm naval aviation crew of the Black Sea Fleet destroyed a reconnaissance boat of Ukraine’s Armed Forces in the area of Russian gas production facilities in the Black Sea.
The ministry statement didn’t provide further detail on what type of boat had been destroyed, or where exactly the incident had taken place.
Our forces have intercepted a wave of Ukrainian marine drone attacks on its warships in the Black Sea, Russia’s officials said.
According to Russian defense ministry said that the Russian fleet’s ships were targeted by Ukraine’s naval drone attack on Thursday evening.
Both sides’ attacks have increased in the Black Sea since Moscow dragged out of an agreement that had allowed the secure export of Ukrainian grain through the shipping hub.
