The experts of the Bomb squad have been called in after the cities of Sweden were rocked by four explosions within an hour, Swedish Police said, with the nation struggling to control a surge of gang-related brutality.
Merely after 1:00 am local time (2300 GMT), local police in Gothenburg obtained information about two explosions at different addresses, just 10 minutes apart.
Both areas have been sealed off and technical probes are continuing, local police said, adding that the national expert bomb squad had been called to the location. Police added that till now there have been no reports of someone being hurt, only material damage.
Just an hour later two other explosions were informed minutes apart in Norsborg and Nykoping, about 100 kilometers south of the country’s capital.
In both cases, police said no one was injured. All four explosions were at residential buildings.
